BANKIES on the beach next to Cuisinart Hotel has a full moon party every month with live bands – admission $15.00. Lots of
local bands and fun. Sundays there is live music from noon with snacks and drinks in a new addition right on the beach. A local spot – fun!
Anguilla is the island of magnificent beaches.
There are 33 of them and most of them deserted. Shoal Bay is probably the most photographed beach on Anguilla.
Anguilla is only 35 sq. miles so driving around it is easy… but they do drive on the left.
Nightlife is there, just ask a local “where it is happening” and you can join in the fun. Disco at “The Pump House” and check out the new disco “L.A. Cafe” (and send me a full report).
Best Anguilla Bar is “Johno’s” on Sandy Ground – it SWINGS with great music, great rum drinks ands all the locals hang out here. The local bands make the place rock! Open late on weekends – call to see what band is playing and times 497-2728
The restaurant “Koal Keel” has been around for years… Very good food, wonderful antiques and fabulous chocolate fondant – reservations 497-2930
“Barrel Stay” BEST fish soup in Anguilla – a must! Open lunch & dinner located on the beach in Sandy Ground.
“Blanchards” is an old favorite with great food. They wrote a book about opening the resturant!
“Scilly Cay” a MUST do day trip. Lobster and chicken and drinks. Hail them from Island Harbor Pier… reserve 497-5123

Big changes at Cap Juluca are worth a trip. A MUST is the new sunset bar at the new lobby. Wonderful atmosphere. All the restaurants have been renovated. Room renovations are in progress – they look very “Cap Juluca”.
