There are no more mini Mokes for rent… Jeeps and Smart cars are now “in”. Car rentals: reserved Mini Cooper convertible $105.00 per day. Best place for mussels on Thursday night is “La Marine” in Gustavia… they are flown in from Paris… no small fete when you see the size of the airport. Pipiri Palace is a member of “Chaine des Rotisseurs” – garden setting.. outstanding menu.. order the daily specials! The new chic… all white restaurant is “Z”… beautiful and a happening bar… lots of beautiful people. After that is you want music head for “The Feeling’ mixed crowd… swings. “Yacht Club” in Gustavia is still the happening place for late night… Owner is Carol who has many chic bars & restaurants.. Nikki Beach now has a night spot, Casa Nikki in Gustavia. “The Wok” Asian food… has moved to larger quarters just up the road… Great food and family run. New restaurant “The Strand” on Gustivia harbor is the newest restaurant…and it is next door to “Cassa Nikki” that is swinging into the wee hours. Great Thai restaurant on the harbor “Jao” Best shoe store in St. Barths – Laurent Effel… they have 2 locations… one for sales shoes… and one for the newest chic French styles… check both… NOTE: St. Barths has recently implemented a mandatory 5% Hotel Tax that is not included in 4Season’s Packages – the tax will be charged directly by your hotel in St. Barts.
